Veterinary Care Assistant - Receptionist
Mia Ireton
Hi, I’m Mia and I recently joined the team at Ace Vets in August 2024 . I have always had a deep love for animals and knew from a young age I wanted to work with them, having grown up with many rescue cats and a dog . I have previously studied Animal Management at college where alongside I volunteered at a local animal sanctuary. At the sanctuary I cared for a wide rage of animals from exotics to farm yard and small animals. I would like to continue to enhance my knowledge and skills working with animals and progress into veterinary nursing.

Veterinary Care Assistant
Millie Mortley
Hello! I am Millie and I have been working at Acevets since March 2024. I previously attended college, in which I received a Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Animal Management. I have experience with many different animals including farm and exotic animals, this has helped me to develop a wide range of knowledge on different species and their requirements. I would like to progress further in the veterinary industry and potentially volunteer abroad! Away from work, I enjoy horse riding, experiencing different countries and cultures, and skiing! I have had the privilege to visit many different countries and I would like to hopefully continue experiencing the world!

Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) & Practice's Manager
Karen Golder
Hi, I’m Karen! I’m a registered veterinary nurse with a passion for animal care that started early in life. My journey began with volunteer work at a local veterinary practice where I spent one day a week after school. I went on to achieve my nursing qualification in 2004. Since then I have worked in various practices including a 24 hour veterinary hospital and a significant period of my career at the PDSA charity where I gained valuable experience. In July 2024 I joined Ace Vets and am proud to be part of a fantastic, supportive team dedicated to providing the best care for pets and their owners. Outside of work I’m a mum of two who keep me very busy! We also have a rescue cat called Timmy.

Student Veterinary Nurse
Laura Pastor
Hi, I'm Laura. I’ve been with AceVets since its opening in November 2022, and prior to that, I spent a year and a half at the Celia Hammond Animal Trust. I hold a degree in Environmental Science (2019) but decided to pursue my passion for animal care by studying veterinary nursing in Spain, a dream of mine for many years. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2022.
Currently, I am studying at the College of Animal Welfare (CAW) to become a registered nurse in the UK. I’ve always had a deep love for animals and am committed to providing them with the best care they deserve.

Client Care Assistant / PA
Candice Jacobs
Hello, I’m Candice! I joined Ace Vets in January 2025 after spending over 18 years working in the Estate Agency industry. While I enjoyed that career, my true passion has always been caring for animals—and giving our visiting dogs plenty of snacks while they wait to see our Head Vet!
As a proud dog mum of two, I knew it was time to return to the veterinary world, where I truly feel at home. Working for such a wonderful independent vet practice has reignited my love for the industry and made me genuinely enjoy coming to work every day.
When I’m not at the clinic, I love spending time with my furbabies and looking after my family. Life is always busy with two teenage boys! I also enjoy shopping, eating out, travelling, and taking long country walks with my dogs.

Veterinary Surgeon & CEO
Manuel Cristadoro
Since obtaining my degree in 2009, my professional path has taken me through a variety of referral clinics in Rome and Sicily, experiences that culminated in my decision to relocate to the UK in 2012.
Shortly after my arrival, I joined CHAT as a veterinary surgeon, and in the subsequent years, I embarked on a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, an endeavor I completed with accolades in 2017.
With a deep-seated passion for orthopaedics, I took the entrepreneurial leap in 2018 to establish my own venture, providing freelance orthopaedic services to various veterinary practices. My commitment to professional growth has led me to partake in several advanced orthopaedic and surgical courses, furthering my skills and surgical acumen. This pursuit of excellence has taken me to a number of leading referral hospitals throughout Europe and the United States.
In 2022, I embraced the challenge of opening my own veterinary practice in Essex, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my career.
Away from the operating table, I delight in exploring new destinations, indulging in the art of cooking, and relishing the companionship of my beloved rescue dog and cat.

Veterinary Surgeon
Maria Tsimenidou MRCVS
I graduated from the University of Bulgaria in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine. After completing a year of postgraduate work in Greece, I moved to the UK, where I became a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS).
With over four years of clinical experience, I have developed a strong interest in diagnostic imaging and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging. I particularly enjoy abdominal and cardiac ultrasonography, and I am passionate about using imaging to support accurate diagnosis and deliver the highest standard of patient care.
I also enjoy soft tissue surgery and take great pride in providing compassionate and thorough care for all my patients.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my cat, Nathaniel, as well as travelling and exploring London.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
Seanie Barron
Hi, I’m Seanie and I joined Ace Vets in September 2025 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. From a young age, I’ve always loved being around animals and knew early on that I wanted to work in a role where I could help care for them.
I began my journey into veterinary nursing while studying for my A-Levels, spending a few days a week working at my local veterinary practice in Cambridgeshire. That experience confirmed my passion for the profession, and I was lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to train as a Veterinary Nurse.
I’m passionate about providing high-quality care to both animals and their owners, and I’m always looking to continue learning and growing within the role.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and I love to travel and explore new places whenever I can.
